Dead Fred, or ‘the guy in the garbage bag’, has been involved in Flagstaff Players for many years now, graciously stepping in for all our deadly falls, poisonings, freezings and other harmful scenes. In December he was seen squashed under a stage light for several weeks at Sparkle in the Park, requiring an uncomfortable tool to pry him off the frozen picnic table. He even had his head ceremoniously chopped off at the first Gathering of the Clans. Many lives have been preserved because of Fred’s heroic actions, and we salute him.
